“Amplas Ekamant Bergaransi”

Salah satu layanan purnaPT Ekamant Indonesia adalah memberikan garansi untuk semua produk amplas yang berada dibawah naungannya mulai dari Ekamant, Taiyo, Kovax, Sunmight dan Finish1. Garansi ini berlaku baik untuk amplas belt, roll, sheet ataupun disc. Lama garansi yang diberikan Ekamant adalah selama enam bulan dari tanggal produksi atau penyambungan amplas. Untuk amplas beltyang memiliki sambungan(jointing) sebaiknya diberikan perhatian khusus karena umur sambungan amplas sangat dipengaruhi kelembaban udara dan cara penyimpanannya. Kelembaban udara yang ideal untuk penyimpanan amplas semacam ini berkisar antara 50hingga 60%.

Dalam memberikan garansi untuk amplas belt Ekamant mengunakan istilah “Best Use Before”  atau “Baik  Digunakan Sebelum…..”. Misalnya tertera Best Use Before 9May 2012 maksudnya adalah alangkah baiknya apabila amplas yang diproduksi pada tanggal 9 November 2011 digunakan sebelum tanggal 9May 2012. Dan disini perlu ditegaskan bahwa bukan berarti setelah melewati tanggal tersebut, amplas itu sudah tidak bisa digunakan lagi.  Semuanya tergantung daribagaimana proses penyimpanannya. Apabila amplas dalam kondisi penyimpanan yang bagus dan kelembaban udara sesuai dengan yang disarankan, maka kemungkinan masih bisa digunakan meskisudah lebih dari satu tahun.

Pelanggan dapat mengajukan penggantian amplas (claim) dengan cara menunjukkan amplas yang bermasalah. Kemudian tim Ekamant akan mempelajari jenis kerusakannya. Apabila terbukti kerusakan sambungan amplas disebabkan oleh kualitas sambungan yang kurang bagus, maka Ekamant akan memberikan penggantian atau menyetujui klaim.

Klaim tidak disetujui bila, pertama, kerusakan sambungan amplas disebabkan karena kelalaian atau kesalahan pemakaian. Kedua, kerusakan sambungan amplas disebabkanpemasangan amplas terbalik karena tidak sesuai dengan arah tanda panah.Ketiga, kerusakan sudah lama tanpa adanya laporan ke PT EkamantIndonesia.

Untuk amplas yang tanpa sambungansepertiampals roll, sheet dan disc; masa simpan amplas dapat lebih lama daripada amplas belt. Disarankan amplas-amplas itu disimpan ditempat yang layak sehingga kondisinya tetap stabil dan siap digunakan.

Begitu pentingnya penyimpanan amplas, maka disarankan sistem pengambilan amplas harus mengaplikasikan sistem FIFO (First In First Out). Ini dapat menghindari terjadinya penumpukkan amplas terlalu lama karena barang  yang masuk lebih awal akan diambil atau dikeluarkan lebih awal pula.
